There were a couple changes for 65 from 64 models including the ‘Thunderbird script on the hood being replaced by an emblem, addition of sequential turn signals and standard front disc brakes. The Thunderbird in 1965 started competing with Fords blockbuster hit Mustang, which did affect sales numbers slightly but by no means meant this car was any less desirable. This Thunderbird is painted in Emerald Green and its hard not to fall for the beautiful, aerodynamic lines and shimmering chrome everywhere you look. The 60s was an era of excess thats for sure! You dont get a puny powerplant either; the 390 CID V8 engine that the was rebuilt. An automatic transmission came standard with this car. The beautifully Black leather is complimented by a full instrument cluster.
