For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. In 1967 Plymouth debuted the second generation of Barracuda which still shared many features with the Valiant but rebodied with Barracuda specific sheet metal. This blue beast is powered by a voracious 340CID thatâ??s been bored .40 over and stacked with hypereutectic pistons comp cam and roller rockers. Intake and exhaust are taken care of by Edlebrock with performer aluminum heads and Air Gap intake manifold. Fueling is provided by the time tested Holley 750CFM double pumper and fire is added with the aid of an MSD ignition system. Ceremic headers feed the exhaust into 3â? tubes that include dual electronic cutouts. Keeping everything in motion is a stout Torqueflight 727 equipped with manual shift kit 3000 RPM stall converter competition flex plate and extra capacity fluid pan. Rear end is 8 ¾ posi trac with 3.55 gearing and Husky Axles. The exterior of this car is done in an incredibly beautiful custom blue metallic with very muted ghost flames that can really only be seen from the correct angle. The second generation Barracudas are coming up in value and this one is sure to grow in time plus it comes with the stuffed fish.
