Up for sale is one of the last cars that the late Boyd Coddington had the chance to build the 1963 Dodge Polara MAXHemi. Even today in this competitive world cars and trucks. Dodge car has its own stand. The MOPAR name has always been feared in performance categories. Even after the death of Dodge brothers the place of their car and truck line did not stumble it has managed to hold it position for over 75 years now. In the year 1963 this Dodge Polara for sale was on the top among all the Dodge models and really had no competition at all. For the 1963 model year the wheelbase was increased to 119 inches making the car more comfortable and the car received new sheet metal and more interesting design. Positioned below the Polara were the plain 440 and 330 but you had those rare occasions where one was rolling around that had a Hemi and folks here it is. But this just isnt just a HEMI powered Polara for sale This car was built by Boyd Coddington Garage to raise an unprecedented amount of money for the kids with leukemia. The car was built on the popular weekly hit series American Hot Rod by the legendary Boyd Coddington with design and fabrication input from Max Cohen a 16 year old Leukemia patient whose greatest wish was to work with the guys at the Coddington Garage and help them build an amazing hot rod. Well his dream was realized in the build of this 1963 Dodge Polara for sale. It is powered by a new 472 CID Hemi crate motor. The monster motor is fueled by a MOPAR dual carb setup and pumps out 525hp! A bullet proof 727 torqueflite transmission was used to back the behemoth and connecting to that is a 9 Ford rear end. You can almost feel your neighbors heart jump out of their chest due to the humongous 3 stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust. The Polar for sale roll around on one-off Coddington wheels that are not reproduced and you WILL NOT find any for sale. Once again this car was built by Coddington but designed by Max Cohen himself. UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) supplied the custom hot rod gauges. Making this Polara for sale ride well not like a Polara was a challenge but only the best of the best was used and a full Magnaforce front suspension was put in place along with a full MOPAR coil over setup in the rear. Gabe Lopez who is one of the best known interior guys in the world was called in to help Max with the design and completion of this gorgeous supple red leather. All components are new from top to bottom and front to back on this car. It has 45 miles on it since the build and looks like the day it rolled onto the Barret Jackson auction block and brought $550000 which the proceeds of the sale of this magnificent Hot Rod went directly to Coddington Foundation to be distributed to childrens charities.
