For sale in our Chicago showroom is this gorgeous piece of American Muscle a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This Camaro SS isnt your typical Camaro. While the Camaro SS rolled of the production line with a stout drive train. This particular SS is special. First what grabs your eye is the exquisite paint a Red Jewel Tint with silver racing stripes. Air is forced through the hood scoops of this resin hood to help feed the monster. Underneath the hood you will find a 6.2 L L99 engine fitted with a Magnuson intercooled supercharger. Thats not all this engine also boasts Livernois CNC ported heads COMP camshaft and a Roto-fab cold air intake. From the factory this L99 was rated for 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Thats not the case with this beast. 589 horses and 576 lb-ft of torque are routed from the supercharged L99 through the built 6L-80E transmission. Thats almost 600 horse on this street machine!!! With the Boulekos Dynamic Sprint Booster hooked up you can now choose how fast the response of your acceleration. When the light is red you are now getting maximum acceleration which is recommended for sport driving. Switch it to green and now medium acceleration is chosen for your soft driving conditions. Dont let the term soft deter you. This setting has the acceleration significantly improved over the factory performance. If these settings are still too much for your everyday driving feel free to switch it off and let it perform with the factory settings. If you dont think this Sprint Booster will get you off the line fast enough there is also a Coan Racing Stall converter. This six-speed automatic transmission is not only fast but also fun to drive. There are shift buttons behind the steering-wheel spokes. Shift the car into manual mode and the left button downshifts and the right upshifts. The gears are held until you ask for the next one. Maybe you have a little racer in you then shift to the sport automatic mode. This will raise the shift points higher and hold the gears longer. Dont worry about being able to come to a stop. Braking is aided by the Brembo brakes and Evo custom drilled rotors. Chassis flex is reduced with Hotchkis chassis braces. While sitting behind the wheel you can feel the rumble of the Magnaflow exhaust and American Racing stainless headers. The sound of the engine isnt the only thing thats music to the ears. The sound system is a Boston Premium Audio system. Turn on either a CD satellite radio or the AM/FM stereo and cruise down the street listening to your favorite tune. The interior is not short on comfort. The interior is covered in a black leather. Each of the front bucket seat has a headrest that is embossed with the SS. All the seats are outlined with subtle stitching. There is no shortage of options on this Camaro.
