VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1958 Chevrolet Impala for sale in Indianapolis, Indiana

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to digitally present this beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Impala. Here is a little history about the car provided by the seller. A car named Bonnie Sue.Bonnie Sue is the owners dream come true in blue and has the trophies to prove it. A 1958 Chevrolet Impala Bel Air Sport Coupe, 348 OHV V8 Tri power, 3 Rochester two barrel carburetors run at 280hp stock from this manufacturers new line up. This one has the two speed automatic transmission called a Power glide. Grade is for low grade driving range on this Power glide model. In Fathom Blue Iridescent to be specific, 18 coats of paint on a true American classic car is what you see here inside and out, with blue/black/gray vinyl interior. See the color charts included inside this car for all colors available in Chevrolet 1958. All original parts were used inside and out. Chrome was shipped out and re chromed before putting on. The glass is in great shape, no cracks were allowed. The owners son was a certified glass technician who did all this glass work. The lights are beautiful and bright. New custom made seats, new carpet, new headliner, new then AM/FM cassette player was installed in the glovebox with the bigger speaker in the back. The heat works. There is no factory air conditioning on this model. All instruments in the dash are working properly. Under the hood and the trunk, it looks new in 2023. This model has drum brakes with the white wall tires and chrome hubcaps. The car was stripped down, piece by piece into crates before our eyes. Then put back together by the master. Every nut, every bolt is either black or fathom blue. I did the work learning, loving every minute of our father daughter time. Working together in the barn restoring this blue 58 Impala plus my blue 71 Corvette at the same, rocked my world. My father found out I am good at prepping for paint too. I brought my own computer chair, just the right height for body repairs. The next day I walked into the barn to work. Father said, Yeah, this chair is pretty good to use daughter, my back stopped hurting. It is a labor of love daughter. Our Father continued to do more frame off- restorations in that chair. The owner started out with a reward. I will pay $250 to anyone who found him a usable 58 Impala. Owner paid his wife, his son and his daughter, as each found one. The one you see is Bonnie Sue, our 58 Chevrolet Impala we found down South with no rust. There were polish highly dedicated professionals rebuilding this car in 2000 to win car shows by 2002. Bonnie Sue has been barn kept and covered. Bonnie Sue was driven for local parades, car shows, James Dean, Auburn, and Friday night pizza night, totaling 2000 miles to date on this rebuilt motor, with loud exhaust. The owners used ET in their first car show and won. The owners ordered a custom made cowgirl like their daughter for their next car show display and won. Bonnie Sue is the name of this beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Impala, because Bonnie Sue helped restore her. Since being restored, no other drivers have driven Bonnie Sue other than the owners. Bonnie Sue bought ads and framed them for Fathers Day gifts. Fathers last birthday, Bonnie Sue ordered the matching blue 1958 Chevrolet Impala hat and key fob. The Happy Fathers Day love needs to live on in Bonnie Sue. Who is Bonnie Sues new owner? I honor my late parents and brothers legacy by placing Bonnie Sue in the great hands to sell at the biggest toy showroom Gateway Classic Cars!
