Used 1969 Chevrolet El Camino for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin
Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino 396 SS. Few cars in history are as easily identifiable and loved like the El Camino. Chevys half truck, half car has proven to be a classic from its early days when it debuted in 1959. The El Camino was created in direct competition to Fords Ranchero that hit the streets in 1957. The 1969 El Camino shared the same platform with its twin, the ever-popular Chevelle. By 1968 the El Camino SS had become a stand-alone model. Offering big block engines to stay competitive in the highly lucrative 60s muscle car market. Just imagine the thrill of stepping on the gas in an El Camino 396 V-8 pumping over 350hp. This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino 396 SS is sitting on its original blue paint with a period white vinyl roof. Rally five-spoke wheels are complimented with a set of raised white letter BF Goodrich tires. Dual sport mirrors, rubber bed liner, and SS 396 badging complete the exterior package. The dark blue interior includes a SS three spoke steering wheel, factory Am radio, and air conditioning. The 396 V-8 is attached to a TH 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Added features include power steering and power front disk brakes.
