The Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a performance-oriented option package of the Ford Mustang muscle car, originally introduced in August 1968 for the 1969 model year. It was available until 1978, returned briefly in 2003, 2004, and most recently in 2021.Nearly everything underneath has been replaced on the fastback, and this car runs and drives exactly how you would want a 1970 Mach 1 to respond. Under the hood is a 351-cubic-inch M-Code Cleveland V8 mated to a 4-Speed Manual Transmission with a Hurst Shifter. The 351C 4V (M code) engine featured 11.0:1 compression and produced 300 HP at 5400 rpm.
