VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1972 Chevrolet Nova for sale in New Braunfels, Texas

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is very happy to offer this Matte Black Beast... this 1972 Chevrolet Nova SS! Every once in a while we get a vehicle that comes through our doors that makes the entire staff stop & take notice, and this is one of those vehicles. Powered by a forged & professionally stroked 496 CID Big Block, this Nova is just plain nasty! Ferrea valves, a Clay Smith cam, Comp springs, ProComp 115cc aluminum heads and an entire series of notebooks with all of the build data tell us the real story about this Nova. It was built for SPEED as well as cruising. The Big Block power is running through an updated & upgraded TH400 trans with a 3200 stall converter, and out into a Detroit TruTrac rear end housing Strange axles, Richmond 3.73 gears, adjustable coil overs & some CalTrac bars to help with the wheel hop and to lay down as much of the horsepower as possible. Up front, there are tubular uppers & lower A-Arms & Wilwood disc brakes. This Nova leaves very little room for improvement, but when you are talking about a build of this caliber, that is exactly what you should expect. The interior continues in the theme of the high quality build, using a subtle 2-tone interior, front buckets with a custom center console, Sony touchscreen audio, a cold blowing A/C, AutoMeter Pro Comp Ultra-Lites gauges, a chromed tilt steering column and even a really nicely finished trunk space shows this 1972 Chevy Nova SS is definitely one of the nicer ones out there!
