The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobiles known as the pony cars. The Mustangs styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. The Mustang GT version was introduced as the GT Equipment Package and included a V8 engine, grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker-panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior, the GT option added a different instrument panel that included 5 round gauges with two mounted on the steering column.This particular A Code GT is optioned as a convertible with and Automatic Transmission and of course, the upgraded front Disc Brakes. Cruising down the road has never felt more nostalgic than in a well-sorted early Mustang, and this 66 is no exception. And just so youre even cooler, this one has A/C! Refinished in Red with a Black Vinyl bucket seat upholstery and White soft top, this Mustang looks the part and sounds well, too!
