Several years after unleashing the Solstice Roadster, Pontiac followed up with a hardtop fastback rework of the vehicle called the Solstice Coupe concept. Inspired by the Solstice hardtop concept that wowed the crowds at the 2002 auto show and foreshadowed the roadsters arrival. With the Solstice designed as a convertible from the ground up, only slight changes had to be made to the chassis to convert it into a fixed-roof coupe, there was only a minimal weight gain to the tune of 31 pounds. Some of the unique features are the duck tail spoiler, removeable targa-top and the fact that this one was the 4th example to roll off the assembly line! Featuring a 2.0 liter turbocharged Ecotec inline 4 cylinder mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission.
