Used 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale in Alpharetta, Georgia
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle! The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile that was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. Body styles included coupes, sedans, convertibles, and station wagons. The Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973 model year. 1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame that included smooth contours, a broad new grille, and bumper treatment as well as curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines and a flying buttress roofline (tunneled into the C pillar) were highlights of the 1966 hardtops, shared with other GM A body models. The new body reflected the Coke bottle body shape that became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s.This particular 1967 example is finished in Speedway Blue with Black Vinyl Top over a Black Vinyl interior. Powering this beast is a Skip White Performance built 496ci Dart Block V8 with Aluminum Heads and a big ole cam. This 67 puts out just shy of 630 HP and 620 ft/lb of torque to the wheel, and that power is sent to the rear end through a 5-Speed Manual Tremec Transmission, 12-Bolt rear end with positraction and 3.73 gears. Additional amenities include Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Vintage Air A/C! If you are in the market for a well-built and scary fast American Muscle car, this 1967 Chevelle is for you!
