Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is proud to present this 1986 Mercury Capri. The 1979-1986 Capri is considered Mercurys second pony car. Built as a two-door hatchback. A limited number of convertibles were converted by an outside vendor American Specialty Cars. The Capri shared its platform, engines, and drivetrains with its sister the Mustang. But was considered to have a more aerodynamic body than the Mustang resulting in the Capri becoming a favorite on the racecar circuit. This 1986 Mercury Capri is painted in black with dark charcoal lower accent panels. A scooped hood, factory alloys, and T-TOPS add to this Capris sporty good looks. The interior consists of charcoal cloth articulated sport seats w/ red cording. Comfort features include power windows, air conditioning, cruise, rear defogger, and a Sony AM/FM/cd radio. Under the hood is a 5.0L V-8 SEFI HO engine attached to a five-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Power steering and power brakes make this 1986 Mercury Capri a truly enjoyable driver.
