When you have a serious V8 motor like this, its great to have a BorgWarner T-5 five-speed manual transmission with a Hurst Black-Jack Quick Shift mechanism (and a Hurst shifter) all topped off with a Currie 9 Ford rearend with 3.50 TruTrac gears. With more than just all-out speed, this Malibu has driving features like power steering and power disc brakes.
