Available in standard and extended cab models, the Toyota pickup offered three trim levels: Standard, Deluxe (DX) and the top-of-the-line SR5 V6. Positioned in the middle to upper end of the compact pickup truck market, Toyotas pickups were designed to appeal to younger buyers who prized sporty performance, but who also demanded dependable service.
