Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is proud to present this 1974 Excalibur Phaeton Series II. The Excalibur was manufactured in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It was built to resemble the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK. Over 3,500 Excaliburs were built before the final car was built in 1990. The Excalibur became one of the most successful replicas produced with owners including Phyllis Diller, Tony Curtis, Ronald Reagan, and Steve McQueen to name a few. This 1974 Excalibur Phaeton Series II comes with 454 V-8 Corvette engine attached to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The exterior is painted in bright red with a black cloth top. Exterior features include stainless steel trim, dual side mounts, real wire wheels, side curtains, luggage rack w/ leather trunk, air horn, fog lights, and exposed manifold exhaust pipes. The red leather cockpit has seating for four. Other features include variable ratio power steering, servoed four-wheel disk brakes, Positraction differential, tilt steering wheel, and air conditioning.
