The Trans is a TCI 2 Speed Powerglide with a 5500 Stall 8 Converter, Aluminum Trans Cooler, a Precision Kwik Shifter II, Jerry Bickel Interior Battery Disconnect lever, Trans Brake and Line Lock and a Carbon Fiber Two Piece Removable Trans Tunnel. The rear in this bad boy is a Ford 9 Strange with an Aluminum Center Section 411 ring & pinion, and Strange Axle Shafts with Pro Series 67 Wheelie Bars. Stopping this Nova II is a set of WIlwood disc Brakes all around. The Chassis and suspension was not left out with a W #2500, 8:50 NHRA Certification, 12 Point Roll Bar in a funny car style and envelopes the driver, a 2x3 Square Tube Frame with Pro JBRC four link rear suspension. This Nova is also equipped with a Anti Sway Bar, a Wish bone A-Arm front suspension with QA1 Adjustable coil overs, an Aluminum Floor, and rear tubs with a Two Strouds Spring Launcher Chute on back. All with a 16 Gallon Jaz Fuel Cell! The interior is all custom with tons of Gauges custom SPARCO ERGO II Seats and 5-point Safety Harness a Quick Release GT Steering Wheel and Stroud Window safety nets. One safety feature this Nova has is the Safecraft Suppression 10 pound single cylinder fire extinguisher system. This Nova does not stop there, the current owner has also added Headlights and switch lever rear lights, Turn Signals, and a backup camera to be able to drive on the road safely. This Nova II sits on a set of Mickey Thompson ET Street Tires on welded Double Beadlock Magnums. Painted in Black Lacquer with a Steel roof and Quarters, a L88 Cole Hood with Fiberglass-Dzus Fasteners, a lift off rear deck lid with wing, Lift off Doors and one-piece front fenders and bumper.
