The seller states that the engine bay now contains a 6.6-liter powerhouse instead of the 301 cubic inch motor that this car would have been equipped with from the factory. Feeding fuel to this beast is a Demon four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake manifold. Hooker headers direct spent exhaust through dual exhaust and out those chrome tailpipes that were all expecting to see on a Trans Am. The seller states the vehicle came from the factory with air conditioning. However, the components were removed during the motor swap and are not present. A modern serpentine belt system spins a flex fan that draws air through the aluminum radiator. A 3-speed automatic transmission provides smooth, effortless shifting. Handling has improved with large sway bars, frame connectors, and modern snowflake-style aluminum wheels. 285/40/17 tires out back with 255/45/17s in front keep this silver bullet stuck to the pavement.
