Only time this model was not manufactured was between 1942-1946 when the U.S. Government shutdown all civilian automotive manufacturing when America waded into WWII in response to Pearl Harbor. The Suburban is the longest running nameplate in American production! This 99 model is far from your standard Suburban. Not only is it a K2500 (3/4 ton frame) and 4x4 but she was a special production model for use at the New Berlin, IL Fire Department. She is kitted out with strobe lights, siren, lightbar, and 2-way radio. The exterior white paint is in good shape. The letting and stripes are vinyl and can be removed.
