Used 1996 Ford Mustang for sale in Coral Springs, Florida
Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this rare 1996 Ford Mustang GT, BOSS SHINODA in Tangerine on black. Larry Shinoda developed the first Boss for Mustang back in 1969, and in 1994 he released his newer version. Shinoda Boss modifications included more power, better handling, and a different look. They were built by Shinoda Performance Vehicles (SPV). Mr. Shinoda passed away the next year, in 1997. The package was placed on the GT and Cobras and came in two levels. Level 1 (Gen I) was a graphics package, Budnick wheels, and a body package (front spoiler, wheel flares and rear super spoiler.) The Level 2 (Gen II) added some performance upgrades such as the Shinoda wheels and suspension modifications. Outwardly, this Dearborn, Michigan built Ford is eye-catching with the Bright Tangerine paint and bold black graphics- a throwback to the famous 1969-1970 cars. Custom wheels set it off, as do the functional sidepipes. Condition is very good. This car is one of only 208 with these paint and trim codes, and was built on October 30th, 1995. Inside, the well equipped leather-appointed interior is clean and in very good condition overall, showing only minimal wear. A long list of equipment makes it very comfortable to drive. It features the MACH 460 Premium AM/FM radio, CD player, power windows-locks and drivers seat, Fords tough modular 4.6 liter SOHC SEFI V8 fills the engine bay and makes great power, sending it back to the 5-speed T45 Manual transmission and 3:27-1 Traction Lok rear axle, meaning this pony will get up and run! It is a lot of fun to drive and it sounds really good. Low miles means it should have a long life ahead of it.
