In 1955, stylish, high and slender tailfins were added to the rear end, which distinguished the El Dorado from the standard line. Other car brands had bulky fins, but Eldorados were sleek and new. Also included in the production Eldorado convertible were monogram plates on the doors, wire wheels, and custom interior trimmings with the Cadillac crest embossed on the seat bolsters. This 1955 Eldorado went through an extensive restoration in the early 2000s with many receipts for all the work that was completed during the restoration process. This Cadillac is painted Black with a Black and White Leather interior. Powering this Cadillac is a 5.4 Liter 331 Cubic Inch V8 making 250 Horsepower from the factory. Power is sent to the wheels is a 4-Speed Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission.
