In 1991 Pontiac and SLP worked together creating the first Firehawk. Creating a new muscle car with a LT-1 350 V-8 under the hood. This 1994 Pontiac Firebird was transformed into a limited edition Firehawk with the assistance of SLP Engineering INCs professionally installed package which included a lightweight composite hood with functional air cleaner assembly, 17x8.5 Aluminum Alloy 5-spoke wheels, 275/40/ZR17 Firestone Firehawk tires, Firehawk graphic package, interior commemorative plague (this Firehawk is #215), and stainless-steel exhaust tips. Attached to the LT-1 V-8 is a four-speed automatic transmission.
