VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1934 Ford Cabriolet for sale in New Braunfels, Texas

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to offer this appealing glass-bodied 1934 Ford Cabriolet done in a brilliant Maroon with tan interior. In 1934, Ford vehicles transitioned to a more aerodynamic shape, with a shield-shaped grille. Changes for the 1934 Ford line were modest, the most visual was the shape of the radiator grille, with fewer, bolder bars. Its chrome bezel was deeper and flatter. The V8 ornament on the grille was revised, the headlamps and cowl lamps were made slightly smaller, and the hub caps were slightly revised. Powering this 34 is a 350CID V8 out of a Corvette with a turbo-400 automatic transmission. The engine has been dressed up with accessories such as polished Edelbrock valve covers, long tube headers and an AFB Competition series carburetor. Heidts Automotive hotrod shop out of Illinois has developed a full suspension kit on a Mustang 2 frame for this Cabriolet that keeps this classic driving and feeling new. The cockpit is equipped with tan leather bucket seats and matching door panels and carpets. Interior equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter, a storage compartment behind the seats, power windows, reverse-open doors, power windows, Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette radio with new Pioneer speakers and a matching tan removeable hardtop. The chrome 15 wire wheels sit nicely inside of a set of 225/70 radial on all four corners and a full-sized spare sits on the back above the rear bumper that also includes a trailer hitch. The leather wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel fronts Classic Instruments gauges consisting of a column-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and secondary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage. If small cars with V-8 power is what youre after this is the car for you. This Cabriolet is just waiting for the weekend cruises!
