Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to present this sharp 1977 Chevrolet Corvette in orange on black. A trip back in time to Disco days and the premier of famous movies like Saturday Night Fever, Star Wars- a New Hope, and then Grease the following year. Far out, man. Theres a reason C3 Corvettes had such a long run; people welcomed them at the 1968 launch, and continued to buy them in high numbers all the way through 1982, the last year. While the 70s were tough times for all American cars due to high gas prices, strict emission & bumper, safety requirements, somehow Corvette still managed to please. The 454 was gone by 1975, leaving only the 350 for the balance of the years, with the L82 being top dog. They exited the scene with the short lived Cross-Fire injection setup. This one comes with the dependable, sturdy, base 350 4Bbl and 3-speed automatic transmission- still plenty of power to have fun with and its a lot less expensive than an L82 car. This 350 has been dressed up a bit with a chrome air cleaner lid and valves covers, but appears stock otherwise. A great platform to enjoy stock or build as you please. Inside the all-black interior, youll find the deluxe leather seating areas, tilt / telescoping steering wheel (a must for us tall guys), AM/FM radio, and a custom steering wheel (much better looking than the Vega style factory steering wheels back then). Driving comfort is aided by factory air conditioning, power windows, power steering and power brakes. Removable top sections give you that great 70s T-Top experience, just adding to the appeal and fun. It is a clean driver-quality car sustained by numerous parts and restoration sources, insuring nice C-3s like this live on for decades to come.
