VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1965 Chevrolet Impala for sale in Olathe, Kansas

Attention Collectors!!!This 65 Impala SS was a barn find in 2008. Completely and professionally restored from top to bottom. Powered by the infamous 396 CID Chevy big block engine. This Impala also comes equipped with the notorious 4-speed Muncie and 12 bolt rear end. Finished in spectacular Super Red basecoat clear paint over Ivory interior this 65 looks & feels the way a fully and professionally restored classic automobile should. Let the power convertible top down and cruise to any show like a rock star! This car gets all the attention. Or open it up and feel the excitement of 396 cubic inches propel you down the road.Featured in the Olathe Kansas City Auto Museum in 2020 and the Great Car Show at the Liberty Memorial in 2021. This 1965 Impala SS is a real crowd pleaser! According to the owner this stunning Impala had a very thorough restoration done from 2009 to 2013. In 2009 they reportedly pulled the engine and transmission and both were completely gone through. The current owner spared no expenses with this restoration and even replaced the fuel tank, brake lines, and even fuel lines just to be safe. In 2010, the body went to Glory Days Body Shop where the body was media blasted, the frame was repainted, and they even had a lot of the chrome replated. Once the body and paintwork was done, they redid the interior completely from the carpet to the seats. For a few finishing touches they repainted the dash and even replaced the top with a newer one with a glass back window. In 2012, they rebuilt the suspension with polyurethane bushings, and also added new shocks and springs that still retain the original ride height. In 2021 the car was pulled out of storage and and had a new Holley Carb added along with a newer power steering pump and a front end alignment. The owner of this car was incredibly detail oriented and did not cut any corners. This would make a great addition to any collection, and is definitely one you do not want to miss out on!This is a stunning collector car that can be driven anywhere at any time. It retains the original big block ride height for that iconic 60s stance and the dual exhaust note is amazing!
