VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1937 Oldsmobile F37 for sale in Phoenix, Arizona

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to offer, on consignment, this gorgeous 1937 Oldsmobile F37 Business Coupe! The car is housed offered by our Scottsdale Arizona Showroom, conveniently located near the 101 and I-17 freeways. “Business Coupe” can be defined as a “no frills basic two door car with no backseat” but let us tell you, this vehicle has all the frills! Let’s start with the exterior, finished in Del Mar Grey Metallic over the beautiful lines of this car makes for some serious eye candy! Starting with the grille, your eyes bounce up and down from the sleek hood ornament then down to the grille and then when you didn’t think it could get any better, the artistic touch continues to the front apron with a stylish design that is almost blocked by the bumper. Now back up to the center hinged hood that looks like an eagle about to take flight when it is open, you gain access to the 229 cubic inch inline 6, mated to a 3 speed manual transmission, as you hover over those gorgeous bulbous front fenders. From the front as you take note of the split windshield and unique placement of the driver’s side view mirror you can’t help but appreciate the lines of the roof and shape of that rear side window. Just as your eyes are drawn towards the equally beautiful rear fenders, you’re caught off guard by the placement of the brake lights. What an amazing location! Following the fenders towards the back of the long sweeping trunk lid you take notice of the license plate light that looks like a piece of art. Finally let’s take a minute to appreciate how that split window in the back is like the cherry on top for this rolling piece of American engineering and design. Go ahead and exhale before you open the door and get the first glimpse of the interior on this car because you’re going to gasp for air. The elegance from the exterior transcends to the interior as you take notice of the stylish design of all the window trim. Ease into that big comfortable bench seat and allow your eyes a minute to take in the speedometer/odometer gauge, then over to the cluster that houses the fuel, water temp, oil pressure and amperage gauges. The chrome bezels on all the gauges with the red accented lettering just draws you in. There is an AM radio that almost goes unnoticed. What’s that over on the glove box door? Is it a sun dial? Nope, it’s the ashtray, even that spikes the coolness level off the charts and finishing off this amazing dash is the clock. Just below the glove box is the location of the heater that looks like something out of a time that’s been forgotten but still extremely stylish in its own right. The interior is covered in a tan color that brings a level of warmth to this chariot. This car has clocked 64,769 miles on the odometer.
