VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1967 Buick Wildcat for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is please to present the 1967 Buick Wildcat convertible. Buick had been building cars for the American public for over 100 years and they are one of the longest running names in automotive history. Taking their seat just behind GM sibling Cadillac, the Buick brand has always been known for building quality automobiles with style, luxury, power, and grace. In the 1960s, with the world changing and the American car buying public changing too, Buick took on some new ideas and really stepped up their game with exciting new models like the Riveria, Gran Sport and Wildcat. Still geared toward the idea of building an elegant, yet not to flashy car, Buick made sure to pack those new vehicles with exciting V8 power with big displacement engines like the 401 Nailhead, 425, 430, and 455. The Wildcat name was used a lot under the hood of many Buick models from and also wore its badge of honor outside the vehicle from 1962 through 1970. Debuting in 1962 as a trim package and becoming its own model in 1963, the Wildcat was sort of a banker’s hot rod. Having style and sophistication, yet still packing a punch at the accelerator. The Wildcat was a great stable mate to internal competition like the Oldsmobile Starfire and Chevy Impala SS and other cars like the Mercury Marauder and Chrysler 300 series. Our featured ’67 Wildcat convertible is a job to drive with plenty of power provided by its 430 cubic inch V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor and 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in off with a complimenting red pinstripe running the length of the vehicle and black vinyl interior. Other features of the car include a power convertible top, power steering and brakes, power windows and a power front bench seat. The Buick sits on the quintessential 5-spoke 15-inch Buick rally wheels with Hankook Optimo thin white wall P235/77R15 1088 tires. Take a ride in a piece of American history in the 1967 Buick Wildcat, available from Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee!
