Gateway Classic Cars is very pleased to present one of the nicest 1966 Ford Mustang “Shelby GT350 Tributes around & it is available out of our Houston showroom. This Black & Red beauty started its life off as a 289 Mustang but has recently been bumped up to a high output, high revving 302 CID small block teamed up to its crisp shifting 3-speed automatic transmission. As you can see in the photos, this Mustang shows very well. Sitting atop the 302 is the Edelbrock “Performer 289 aluminum intake & electronic choke 4 barrel set up, finned Cobra air cleaner and valve covers, MSD coil & distributor and the Old Air Products R-134a air conditioning. Even the hood scoop is functional! Now we get to the interior… and what an interior this is! This red Pony interior pops against the contrasting black & chrome, and the wooden Cobra wheel & retro look Dakota Digital updated gauges finish off the interior styling. All the interior shows as if new. The seating, carpets & headliner are great and the audio system & shoulder belt seal belts have been added for a little extra sound & safety. Even the trunk carpets look as if they were freshly installed. There were an unknown amount of man hours spend on the body and paint work on this Shelby clone & it is evident that the craftsmen in the body shop took exceptional pride in their work. It is stunning to see. All this is riding on a killer looking set of 18 machined & black inlet rims completed with a newer set of low-profile radials for sure footing & traction. If youve always wanted a Shelby GT350, but without the 6 (or even7) figure price tag, then this might just be for you!
