Rightly so as they were on the cusp of an incredible decade! The Crestline was first offered in 1952 and was placed at the top trim offered by Ford. Optional versions were Victoria, Sunliner, and Country Squire with various styles like hardtop, convertible, and wagon. Here we have a 53 Crestline Victoria! And will you be in for a surprise. The red exterior looks good, and the white top really sets it off. The tan cloth interior looks comfortable and is also in good order. Walking around it you think its just an innocent Crestline until you see the bigger back tires. Something must be different; and youd be right. Lying in wait under the hood is an enormous rebuilt 500ci Cadillac V8! That monstrous motor is running the power out through a rebuilt turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. She is sporting a Ford 9 rear end and a 3:00 gear ratio to calm her down. This car received a frame off restoration in 2006 and the photo album is included with the car of the restoration process. The odometer does not work on this car. Current owner has had her for over 20 years, acquired from a private owner out of Kentucky and is believed to have only had 3 owners.
