Used 1973 Dodge Charger for sale in OFallon, Illinois
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1973 Dodge Charger! We love the fan-favorite Mopars, but it is refreshing to see some love given to the less popular Mopar model years. Too many Mopar shows and conversations are all about the same couple cars. What happened to having a unique vehicle? This vehicle has been wisely restored where it counts. The seller states the 440 Magnum and 727 3 speed automatic transmission were rebuilt less than 3,000 miles ago with a 8 3/4 rear end spinning a 3.55 posi rear end gear. Those 3 items are the stuff dreams are made of! All the critical parts where it counts! The car drives really great for a big body car and that engine feels like it was built RIGHT! It wants to move! As part of the restoration work the braking system was reworked with a new master cylinder, booster, and new lines. Similarly, the fuel tank and fuel lines were all new as well. The under dash and underhood wiring is also said to be replaced as part of the restoration efforts. The cooling system was given similar treatment to the rest of the build with new electric cooling fans and radiator. The important drivability pieces feel like they are done once and done right.
