Designed as a mid-size car that was sold in coupes, convertibles, sedans, and station wagons. The SS “Super Sport package was available through the 1973 model year. This second generation Chevelle SS was produced from 1968-1972. In 1972 the Chevrolet Chevelle was the highest selling car in the United States. This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle is painted in dark metallic green with black racing stripes running down the fiberglass cowl hood and decklid. A mean looking set of Cragar deep dish five spoke chrome wheels are mounted on a set of Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. A set of hood pins and LED Halo headlights add to the overall appearance of this aggressive looking Chevelle. The black vinyl interior sports bucket seats with center console. A Pioneer Am/Fm/ cd sound system and an aftermarket gauge package including tach, water, oil and voltage. Under the hood of this beauty is the desirable 455 cubic inch V-8 with a Holley carburetor with electric choke and fuel pump. A 700R four-speed automatic transmission is attached to a 12 bolt 3:55 gear ratio posi rear end. Power steering and front disk brakes make for a great driving machine.
