This is the second generation and last year of the Chieftains 9 year production run that began in 1949. This car has clocked an undocumented 75,909 miles on the odometer and only 11,000 miles since the rebuild. This Chieftain is equipped with a 370-engine, which was a bored out and improved version of the Pontiac 347 and is matched to a 3 speed automatic transmission. People will hear you coming down the road with the aftermarket AM/FM cassette player, stashed away in the glove box, that is paired with some 6.5 door and package tray speakers.
