Make no mistake this Chevelle is set up for performance with a 396 big block engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with an added overdrive unit and drag racing shift lights. The engine is finished with brushed aluminum accessories with a serpentine belt system. It has headers and an air gap intake manifold. This car is cooled by a 4-row aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It puts power to the road through a 12 bolt GM 3.73 posi-traction rear end and rides on 15 Rocket alloy wheels and B.F. Goodrich radial tires, has power steering and stops on 4-wheel power disc brakes. The suspension is stiffened by front and rear sway bars, and tubular A arms in the front. This wagon is loaded with features including a Vintage Air AC unit, a Custom Auto Sound AM/FM stereo, I Did-It steering column, and an elegant black Dakota Digital dash gauge kit. The seats are custom deep bolstered black buckets. The steering wheel is a black aluminum custom wheel. The trunk area features a custom full carpeted finishing. The windshield, interior paneling, dash pad, carpeting are all new giving this car a very refined and tasteful appearance.
