Marketed through five different ownerships as an American sports car from 1965-2006. Being offered as a coupe, four-door sedan and convertible variations. The Avanti II was introduced in 1965. Initially built with a Corvette 327 engine which evolved into the use of a 400 Chevrolet and ultimately downsizing to a 305. This Avanti II is 1 of only 127 units built in 1972. Under the hood is a 400cid V-8 attached to a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Painted in tuxedo black with a refined tan leather interior. Gold honeycomb wheels are a great addition to the Avantis good looks. Bucket seats, full length console, chrome switches and full gauge package gives the cockpit a real sporty appearance. An upgraded disk brake system and power steering makes this Avanti II one fun car to drive. Comfort features include air conditioning, AM/FM/cassette radio, power windows, power sunroof and tilt wheel.
