Total production for 2008 is 91,251 thus making this an instant collectable. As mentioned earlier this classic Bullitt Mustang was finished in the same color made famous by the 1968 movie starring Steve McQueen. There are understated cool things all over this car from the billet shifter knob to the etched metal dash. Mechanically Ford did not just build a cosmetic tribute to the original movie car this car has 15 more horsepower than a standard GT and Ford raided the factory racing parts box to beef up the suspension by adding stiffer shocks, springs and strut tower brace giving the car the extra bite it needs in the corners. The car was even tuned to sound like the original movie car. In keeping with the movie the car is stripped of badging, scoops and spoilers. The car has its own Vin specific serial number located on the tower brace. The car is powered by its 4.6 liter V-8 and has a manual 5 speed transmission. The interior is Black Leather and features all the creature comforts we have all come to expect. With a cool AM/FM/CD stereo A/C ,P/S,P/W, P/locks .
