This vehicle was built to take a beating and withstand some of the toughest environments on the globe. This all-terrain beast is powered by a 5.7L V8, backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission that has been enhanced for the application in this behemoth. The military CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) is intact and allows the driver to tune the tire pressure to the needs of the situation, whether dropping it on the fly for sudden encounters of sand or deep mud; or raising it back to a more road ride-friendly pressure. Inside, the interior is similar in appearance to, but markedly different in materials from the military versions. Woodgrain dash trim replaces the military bezels, and power windows add additional creature comfort to go along with the improved materials and A/C system. The Isringhausen buckets are covered in a high-grade synthetic leather, done in a two-tone beige and brown motif, and are quite comfortable for extended trips. While they arent power-adjustable, the manual adjustment capabilities allow for most body types and sizes to find a setting that works well for them. There is an AM/FM/CD radio for occupant aural enjoyment, and Air Conditioning for their climate pleasure. This truck is the real military deal truck, but with some nice civilian-friendly enhancements that give its owner the best of both worlds. The roll bars are covered in nice thick padding, and the canvas top appears nearly new. This truck can take you wherever you need to go with its prodigious territory-conquering ability. The 37X12.50R16.5LT Goodyear Wrangler Military MT radial tires have plenty of tread left and are kept inflated by the CTIS. When you buy this HMMWV, youll be the owner of one of the nicest HMMWVs outside of Schwarzeneggers garage. Hummer H1s in this condition, with the kind of upgrades this one is equipped with, are extremely few and far between; so, dont let it slip away!
