Times are certainly changing. We see it in our everyday life. We see it in the movies we watch, in the food we eat. And we see it in the cars we drive. Technology has moved man from running the open plains, to tracing the stars. Sometimes though it is good to look back down to Earth and see where it is we came from and what got us there. And sometimes we see the worlds collide into something very unexpected. This is a 1931 Ford Roadster. This is what got someone from where they were to where they needed to be in order to push the country further forward. Moved by a more “modern” 1951 flathead V8 that is mated to a 5-speed automatic. The build is pretty recent with around 2939 miles on it since rebuild. This is all runs down and to tera forma thanks to a Ford 9” rear end with 3.50 final gears. Painted a classy looking cream/brown exterior and brown interior, you can look quite dapper as you hit the town. You will be carried by a Mustang II front suspension and 4-link w/ coil over shocks out back. Stopping is done by 4-disc brakes. Dash and fuel tank were swapped out from a 1932 Ford. Toss in a few goodies like an electric fan, aluminum radiator, headers, electric ignition, new speedo and attach and you will find yourself in something a little old and a little new.
