For the “2nd Series of the 3100s, Chevy continued with the Advance Design body style (Series 1) until March of 1955, thats when Chevy redesigned the body style and they called the new design Task Force Series (Series 2), with the new stream line look, new style grille, wrap around windshield, hidden running boards and being available with a V8 and 12v electrical system, the new Task Force design quickly became a favorite of many. Almost all of this high quality build was done by a very well-known Hot Rod shop here in the Houston area between 2019-2020 and has been redone from the top to bottom. It is powered by a nasty 383 Stroker mated up to a 700R4 transmission. All this power is put to the ground via the 4 link rear suspension with a 10 Pontiac/Olds. Posi Trac rear end, Aldan “Phantom coils overs shocks, Cragar Super Star aluminum racing wheels and a massive set of Hoosiers out back!
