This Tudor has been driven a mild 250 miles since it has undergone an extensive professional body-off restoration with far too many tidbits to list. But first we start with the amazing paint- PPG Deltron base-coat clear-coat 1951 Carnival Red. And it looks just proper over the amazing correct gray dot pattern Bedford cord fabric interior. All the trim work is either NOS stainless steel, original Ford brightwork, or re-chromed. The glass is in amazing condition, body lines are true, and the doors sound like a freezer door when shutting. Under the hood sits the proper 239c.i. Flathead V8 that has been thoroughly gone through. The complete rebuild includes bore at .060 over, crankshaft is 4 stroke. New pistons, rods main, cam bearings, oil pump, new clutch (nice!), new plugs, points, condenser, cap, rotor, coil, etc. Braking system has been restored with all fresh stainless lines, etc. Rear axle is restored. The car is equipped with the proper 3-speed column shift manual transmission, which has also been restored. The entire cooling system, fuel system, and electrical system have been restored, including all color-coded wiring to original Ford specs. To finish the look of this truly fine automobile are the 5 new Coker tires including stainless hub caps and full wheel trim discs that are NOS Ford. There are no excuses with this car.
