Fords from the 1939/40 model years are known for being one of the most stylish pre-war era designs, with the major distinguishable difference between 39 and 40 being the three-piece grille with chrome center section. The chrome headlight surrounds and hubcaps tell you that this was the “Deluxe model too. Of course, this is no stock 1940 Ford but is very presentable in two-tone Red and Black with a Black canvas manually operated convertible top. The Coker white wall radial tires on painted steel wheels show nicely and exterior door handles have been shaved for a clean look.
