VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1972 Buick GS for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is please to present this 1972 Buick GS Sun Coupe, The Buick brand is one of Americas oldest car companies and almost 120 years later, Buick is still building fine automobiles. In the mid 1960s the muscle car crazy was everywhere. Pontiac had a real hit on their hands with the GTO and the other GM siblings all wanted a piece of the action. Chevrolet offered the Chevelle SS, Oldsmobile had the 442 and the boys over the Buick the Gran Sport based on the A-body Skylark platform. After the initial success of the Gran Sport in 1965 & 1966 the GS badge could be seen on other Buick models like the Wildcat and Rivera and these vehicles would be appointed with strongest and more powerful engines Buick had to offer at the time. The bright red GS badge was a not-so-subtle way to show that Buick meant business and were making a very strong mark in the muscle car market. Our featured 72 Buick GS has the very rare Sun Coupe option, less than 4000 were built and few survive today. The car is equipped with the ever powerful 455ci motor mated to a turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission. The color contrast of Stratamist blue paired to the creamy white vinyl top with matching vinyl seat that will stand out and demand attention in any situation. Other features included the quintessential 5 spoke Buick rally wheels, 12-bolt Posi traction rear end, power steering, power brakes, and the manual sunroof. Wouldnt you really rather have a Buick? Come take a trip back in time with the 72 Buick GS Sun Coupe.
