The concept of a utility coupe had been around for a while but didnt show up in the United States until the late 50s and Fords Falcon Ranchero was the top seller behind Chevrolets El Camino. This example was just fully restored by Phoenix Rod and Custom in Albuquerque, New Mexico and youll be hard pressed to find any component of this 1964 Ford that isnt done right; wed put it up against any other Falcon Ranchero in the country! Painted in a glossy coat of Pearl White and sitting on 14 American Racing wheels, this Ranchero looks better the closer you get to it. The 6-foot truck bed has had a full bed-liner sprayed in and the Black vinyl tonneau cover has gas springs to hold it in place when raised. One thing youll notice upon inspection of the vehicle is that the doors and hood shut solid- not always a given on classic cars! Powering this fun Ford pickup is a 302 CID V8 engine that has just been rebuilt and reinstalled. The engine compartment itself is very presentable and the “Ford Racing blue painted valve covers and air cleaner are a nice touch. Exhaust headers feeding dual pipes, an aluminum intake, Holley 4bbl carburetor and aftermarket radiator with dual electric cooling fans should keep this Ford V8 running strong. The 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive helps this truck find the right gear both around town and on the highway. The interior of this Falcon Ranchero represents just like the rest of the vehicle- very clean! Black leather interior and a custom center console with cupholders fit right in. The Jensen stereo system with touch screen operation is a high-end installation on its own and will be enjoyable to use while driving this Ranchero to your destination. The tilt steering wheel is custom but the stock style gauge cluster behind retains some Ranchero heritage. Last but not least, this vehicle comes with Vintage air conditioning.
