Gateway Classic is presenting a 1971 Chevy Camaro. The second-generation Camaro was produced from 1970-1981 and came about with a heavy restyle from the first- generation Camaro. It grew larger and wider but still based on the F body platform with unibody structure, front subframe with an A arm front suspension and leaf springs supporting a solid rear axle. This example comes painted in Mulsanne Blue with black painted hood stripes and a beige and charcoal black interior. The interior is black with beige cloth front seats and rear seat back with a grey cloth rear seat base. The stereo has an upgraded aftermarket Sony stereo with detachable face unit. It is a factory A/C car but the A/C components have been removed at the time of the rebuild and are in the trunk. It is a factory 4 speed with Power Steering, Power Brakes, GM 10 bolt Posi 3:73 gears. Muncie 4 speed transmission with Hurst Shifter. Hideaway wipers, metal cowl hood, front spoiler and lower rear spoiler. The power is from a small block crate 400w with 400HP, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 4 barrel, headers, dual exhaust, Flow-master dual chrome tips out the rear end. New bumpers front and rear with factory 5 spoke Z28 wheels with BF Goodrich 235/60/15 tires.
