It differed from base models in several ways including a higher level of standard features which were only optional on base models. This Collectors Edition Corvette for sale was built in the Bowling Green, KY plant, starting which would become one of the most well-known production plants in the nation. Powering this Vette for sale is an epic 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. The 82 Corvettes adopted a Cross-Fire Injection system, to become the first Fuelie Vette since 1965. The fuel injection system looks like a cross-ram set-up, giving the engine bay quite an aesthetically pleasing appeal. The Crossfires higher level of sophistication added 10 horsepower. Chevrolet also dropped the 4-speed manual transmission and went strictly with the 4-speed automatic transmission.
