Heck I spent 10 minutes marveling at the work done to the undercarriage. So where to start this write up? Once upon a time someone had too much money then they built a car, the end. Lets start with the down under. The sub frame has been completely blasted and painted then new bushing installed and bolted to a freshly painted car. Hotchkis convertible subframe connectors and convertible underbody brace installed. New front coil over with 2 drop and rear leaves with 1 ½ drop for that pretty stance! Then the body of this poncho underwent a strip down, prime and paint, the color, Corvette torch red. This car looks amazing with the black top and vinyl interior against the bright red and the dual snorkel hood and tach show this car means business! When this car was new it came equipped with a 400 CID V8 and turbo 400 transmission, factory AC, power windows, steering, top and power front disc brakes. Today not much has changed except the engine is a 455 with ram air 3 heads #48, Edelbrock performer intake Holly double pumper carburetor and a set of Dougs long tube headers flowing into dual stainless exhaust. A Keisler TKO 5 speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle housing 3.73 ring and pinion. Need to catch my breath. Ok, Dynamat on the floor and doors, new dash pad, door trim, carpet. Seats rebuild with new foam and vinyl, Rebuilt rally cluster gauges new wire front to back, 6X9s in the back and a sub in the trunk! What did I miss? Weatherstripping, yep it is new, heck I even believe the ashtray has been rebuilt and improved and adds 3 horsepower.
