Coupled with the low center of gravity, light weight, and short wheelbase, this little import handles like a go kart! The Sunbeam went through a restoration which was completed in 1999. During the restoration new quarter panels, headlight surrounds, lower fenders, rocker boxes, and frame connectors were fitted to keep the structure rigid for the spirited driving that these Alpines were built to handle. The electrical system was converted to a negative ground to be more friendly with modern components. The engine was converted to electrical ignition, a set of Weber 32/36 carbs were fitted via a Pierce intake manifold, an the transmission was replaced to make sure a shift is never missed. This Black Cherry beauty is ready to grip the road, thanks to the Dunlop Direzza tires fitted on all 4 corners.
