Used 1953 Chevrolet 210 for sale in DFW Airport, Texas
Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is excited to present a bright sparkling 1953 Chevrolet 210 Deluxe Sedan, having received a $60k Custom restoration. Most of the restoration was completed in Switzerland to comply with their strict regulations and has the certification label under the hood. Body/ Paint: Mild modifications include a one-piece peaked and shaved hood, shaved deck, and gas filler door. The deck has a cable release and the fuel filler is in the trunk. The spare tire well has been filled as well. All other Deluxe stainless remains as well as Pontiac front fender splits and stars on the rear quarters. The body is a custom mix copper Kandy with rainbow color flake in the clear coat with a pearl tan top and pin-striping. The car has a sun visor, extra teeth in the grill, one-piece bumpers, and new 54 Chevy tail lights and housings. All glass is original with the exception of the wind-wings and side-quarter windows that are new. Interior: The 3-tone interior has copper flake and 2 shades of tan and is over-stuffed. Very comfortable. All interior door and window handles are new. The new headliner is cream and the carpet is copper. The dash is original including the paint (other than striping), has an accessory stop light viewer and all gauges work as they should. The radio is a Classic Car Stereo unit with Am/FM/MP3 capabilities and two speaker panels in the original location. 2 more speakers are in the package tray, hidden under the perforated material. The floors are epoxy painted black and have Dyna-mat for heat and sound deadening. Engine/ Transmission/ Rear axle: The engine was rebuilt in January of 2015 and has under 1500 miles on it. It is a 1954 full pressure block with an 11.0:1 compression ported head sporting an Offenhauser valve cover and intake manifold with dual Weber carburetors. It has a performance hydraulic camshaft, stainless headers, a new dual exhaust system, a new water pump, and a re-cored original radiator. All wiring was replaced with a new cloth-wrapped harness with a fuse panel and converted to a 12-volt alternator. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic, The rear axle is a 1956 Chevy 8.2 with 3.50 gears with new bearings and seals. The gas tank and all lines are new. Suspension: The suspension has been lowered with Jambco spindles and rear leaf springs with blocks for a 5.5 drop in the front and 5 in the rear. All brakes and lines are new with a dual reservoir master cylinder mounted under the floor. The frame and floor pan are all painted and detailed. The wheels are 15x6 and 15x8 chrome smoothies with wide whites. This car would be a candidate for export as it retains a 6 cylinder engine and drum brakes as originally manufactured, with no airbags or hydraulics, steel wheels, and clean chassis.
