Out behind the throaty 350 is a 3-speed TH350 automatic transmission, which sends the power to the 10-bolt rear end. The addition of front disc brakes, with their cross-drilled and slotted front rotors, helps improve the stopping capability considerably vs. the all drum Camaros. Wheel hop during hard launches is nearly eliminated by the addition of slapper bars out back, and a beefy stabilizer bar has been added to reduce axle swing during cornering. This car rides on a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires (P225/60R15 up front, P255/60R15 out back), which are mounted on traditional rallye wheels, with their chrome beauty rings; which combine to add to the vintage look of this 1968 Camaro. Inside, youll note that the optional gauge package provides another level of vintage authenticity, with the staggered sawtooth gauges in the console, plus the tick-tock-tach configuration of tach and clock in the same nacelle to the right of the speedometer. The staple shifter (sometimes also referred to as his and hers) lever finishes off the traditional look. The black carpet is in good condition, and the black synthetic leather seating and trim are all in good condition, with nary a serious blemish. The vintage large diameter/thin rim steering wheel looks just right. One addition that you may not have expected, but will certainly appreciate, is the addition of a 3-point seat belt system for the front seat occupants. A Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette head unit provides the tunes.
