Driving is made easy with the automatic, power steering and power brakes. Additional comfort comes from an aftermarket air conditioning system. Modern tunes are there, just in case the sweet note of the meaty big block is not enough. A nice set of gauges were added to keep an eye on things. Powering this machine is GMs ZZ4 454 crate engine rated at 469 horses and 519 ft. lbs. of torque. That is as good and better than a 1970 LS5 454, in a more reliable, stronger package. Aluminum oval-port cylinder heads are mounted on GMs latest-generation block casting with four-bolt main caps, with an all-forged rotating assembly for higher strength and durability. Power and torque are fed through a TH400 3-Speed Automatic transmission with 2400 RPM stall converter. The transmission spins the 12-bolt rear axle housing with 3.73 gears throwing enough torque to shred the rear tires on demand.
