Legendary automotive manufacturer, Plymouth, had been around for over 40 years at this point and their visions brought to life some of the most quintessential Mopars that would ever tear up the streets. In 1969 Plymouth made a good amount of Road Runners with various drivetrains there were very few convertibles. Only a little over 1100 convertibles with automatics would be made. And that is what we have here. Decoding the first part of the vin, RM27H9G, proves the following. 1969 2 door Road Runner Convertible with the high performance 383 and built in St. Louis, MO. Approaching this car you cant help but want to get behind the wheel and go for a cruise. The gold paint is older, could be original paint. Interior is cream and is in good shape. Under the hood is the H code Hi-po 383ci v8 backed by an automatic transmission. Per the owner this is believed to be the original drivetrain. Current owner has had this sweet ride for over 30 years, purchased from Carmel Classic Motors which is no longer in business. Odometer shows 81k miles.
