Gateway Classic Cars Indianapolis is proud to present this 1968 Triumph TR-250. First introduced in 1967 replacing the TR4As 4-cylinder motor with a 2.5 liter inline 6-cyl. The 2500cc motor featured two single barrel carburetors known as the dual Stromberg. The carburetor was developed specifically for the U.S market as its fuel injected sister known as the TR5 did not meet emission standards. The TR-250 was described as being a small, simple, and reliable sports car. From the factory the TR-250 was given disc brakes that provided dynamic stopping power which is to be expected with nibble example of British sportiness. This 1968 triumph car is numbers matching and rebuilt 23,000 miles ago.
